Construction Details

• Wide anatomical toe box -Approximately 3E width at the toe. Room for your toes to lay flat and spread the way they were designed to.

• Zero-drop sole -Consistent thickness from heel to toe. Your body stacks naturally, less stress on your knees and lower back.

• 360°stitchdown construction - The upper flares out around the midsole and is stitched all the way around. Built to last and be resoled.
• 3mm full-grain cow leather -Thick, substantial, built to develop a personal patina. Not decorative - functional.
• Vegetable-tanned leather counter -8mm of veg-tan leather structure the heel. That's 2x thicker than average.
• Vegetable-tanned leather midsole - Natural and durable. Won't crack over time like synthetics.
• Handcrafted in Mexico in small batches.

Break-In Note

The Decatur fits somewhat snug out of the box, and you may notice some heel slip in the early days. Both are normal - and expected.

Heel slip is a natural part of a western boot. As the leather molds to your foot, the heel seats in and the slip decreases. That's the boot doing what it's supposed to do.

Wear them through the first several days and the full-grain leather will shape to your foot and become the most comfortable boot you've ever owned. The snug fit and the heel slip aren't flaws. They're proof of what you bought.
